What Project Serve Is All About.

Project Serve Calgary provides young people the opportunity to serve God through serving others.
Project Serve Calgary has the vision to build up a generation of servant hearts who understand the brokenness in their own city and are connected to various local organizations involved in applicable relief ministry. This summer Project Serve will be hosting local mission trips to expose, educate, empower, and engage the youth.
Our Pursuits.
Expose -- To open the eyes of the youth to the needs and brokenness in their city.
Educate -- Training youth to practically work towards solving social injustices by partnering with established ministries.
Empower -- Providing youth opportunities to get involved with local ministries.
Engage -- To have youth fully engaged in service for long term local impact.
Our Mission.
From past mission trips, we noticed how impactful a mission trip in the youth’s own city can be. Young people not only get the opportunity to see the needs within their own community but are encouraged to continue volunteering throughout the year.
Therefore, our mission is to facilitate lasting relationships between church youth ministries and local charitable organizations in order to engage the youth in continuing compassionate service to those in need.
Who Can Sign Up.
Project Serve Calgary is geared towards churches that have existing youth groups and want the opportunity to serve in Calgary.
Ages allowances vary based on each youth group but are primarily focused on students in Grades 6-12.
There will also be an opportunity this summer for young adults to join together for a serve week and minister to our city. Ages vary, but primarily focused on young adults ages 18-25
Serve Weeks 2023
Serve Weeks are an excellent opportunity for youth to disengage from regular day-to-day life and become immersed in a week of serving and creating deeper relationships with peers and youth leaders. Our YYC Serve Weeks focuses on connecting youth to serve opportunities in their own city where they can continue serving throughout the year. We have seen the incredible impact on the youth and the city of Calgary through past Serve Weeks and are so excited to not only offer a youth Serve Week this summer but a Young Adults Serve Week as well! Join us for a truly impactful experience as we serve those in need, grow closer as a community, and above all, pursue Christ.

Steps to register as a church or youth group:
Join us this summer as we serve in Calgary! We will be partnering with existing organizations to reach those in need. As we serve in our home city our hope is that eyes and hearts would be open to the work God is doing here and that passion to serve year round would be ignited. We are so excited you are joining us for this adventure!

This application is specifically for short term volunteers who will only be involved for the duration of one event.
