Coming to YU was the first time in a long time that I had felt recognised as a person of value. Because the Youth Unlimited staff were intentional to invest into my life and mentor me, I now get the opportunity to do the same as a YU staff member. I’m learning and still growing, but I have the opportunity to share the gospel and that’s where I need to be.

”I was alone and had nobody. I texted one of the staff one night and I didn’t even know them. I just knew this was a Christian program and so I figured they maybe wouldn’t judge me for being pregnant so young. I often feel like a loner but now they are they are my main source of encouragement and friendship. I finally feel like I belong.”

“First coming into Worth Auto, I was scared that the religious aspect would be thrown at me but once I started actually working there and tuning into God talks, the Lord came to me and spoke to me. As I adjusted to the environment at Worth, I became comfortable with everyone. I knew I was in for a challenge and I accepted it. I have my ups and downs learning at Worth but I know the Lord will help me through it. Everyone at Worth is accepting and loving and willing to take their time with everyone who wants to learn.
